The Erosion Control Team and our partners hold an annual Best Management Practice (BMP) workshops in the early Spring.       

The Ninth Annual Best Management Practices Workshops have been scheduled. Send in your registration forms as soon as possible (prior to April 10 for the Basic course) as space is limited.

The Basic Contractors Workshop is an all-day session being held on April 25 at the Lake Tahoe Community College. Attendees will learn the latest design principles and methods to prevent water pollution and erosion on single-family residential properties. New defensible space guidelines will be explained. The Refresher course will be held for those who have attended the Basic or Refresher course within the last two years. The Refresher course will be held April 30 at the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency and is a morning session. New defensible space guidelines will also be discussed at this workshop. Licensed contractors attending the workshops will be listed on the tahoebmp.org website in the Resource List of BMP Professionals.
